We LOVE our Solatube! We have a vaulted kitchen ceiling and though it's spacious and beautiful we don't receive a ton of direct sunlight because we only have 1 window. Our Solatube makes the space SO much lighter!! We've had it for about 2 months and it's still hard to believe our lights aren't on. We highly recommend getting one. It was also a great value. Last, for those that might be nervous about lighting in the evening, we had a "light kit" installed in the tube so we can still use the lights at night.

Daylight Concepts, LLC is an extremely professional company that is responsive and customer satisfaction is their highest priority. Daylight Concepts support staff is a clear model of how customer service should be. Dustin, their installation tech is knowledgeable, professional and polite and an asset to the company. This company was able to detect and remedy the leak coming from my solar tube from a prior installation with another company. Great product and outstanding customer service. Technician Carlos Cruz and Daniel Chabino were very professional, prompt, friendly and informative. We are very satisfied with the outcome of our SolaTube, it made a huge difference in our rooms (4). I strongly recommend Solatube to anyone wishing to improve their home lighting. Peter Swanson was an amazing technician. He worked multiple days in 103 degree heat in the attic and roof and the quality was spot on. The Solatubes make a big difference in the bathrooms and dark area at the top of the stairs. I could tell a difference in the temp of the house w/ the attic fans. Heater worked tirelessly and the products are amazing. I highly recommend it.

Solar Midwest installed two (2) solar tubes for us, one in our bathroom with a vent, and another in the hallway. They look great and bring in a lot of natural light! Our installer was super friendly, on time and considerate. Would recommend!

I had two of the solar tubes installed in my vaulted ceiling and the installation was quick and painless. The installer checked with me throughout the process and was friendly and professional. Now it looks like the lights are on in the room when they’re not. Night light is dim but sufficient to walk around at night. Satisfied customer.

If you are looking for solar lites, look no further! This place is awesome! Let me start by saying, they are the least expensive in the industry. Their customer service compares to none, they are the best. The tech was so professional and explained everything. I was not home for the install, so he sent pics of the inside and the roof and advised me if there was anything I dint like, to call him and he would fix it. He was really fast and kept me informed. We love how our living room and kitchen now have bright and beautiful daylight. We really appreciate that the staff was patient and helped us with last minute changes, even to the point of making a last minute run to the office, which fortunately was only 15 minutes or so away, to pick up a second diffuser that we preferred to help us be completely satisfied. We highly recommend Daylight Concepts.

We absolutely love our new Solar Tubes from Solar Midwest. We purchased 4. 2 smaller ones for bathrooms with no windows and 2 larger ones for the Kitchen and front entry way. We received excellent customer service from the onset to finish. Highly recommend this company & their product.

Our SolaTube Home experience was outstanding, from the beginning to the end. The General Manager came out to do our initial assessment and was very attentive to our needs and made just the right recommendations. Flora, the office customer service contact, was very pleasant and kept us informed as to the timing of the installation and the required documentation that our HOA required. And Peter did a great job on the installation. We highly recommend SolaTube Home.

A couple of minor delays due to the length and configuration of the tubing. Otherwise a very good experience. Happy with the outcome, gives more light to a dark hallway. James was courteous and punctual as well as competent. What more do you need?

My Mom bought 4 Solatubes per my recommendation to brighten her living room. A couple of years later we noticed a leak close to the Solatube. I called Solatube to have them investigate if they were the cause of the leak. Solatube sent out a very nice man with years of experience as a roofer to check things out. He took pictures and ascertained it was a rodent who had chewed a hole in the roof. My Mom was very pleased as Mr. Swanson was very congenial, forthright, and handled the situation with professionalism, courtesy and skill. I am pleased my Mom had a positive result, and that Mr. Swanson, and the manager Bryce value these practices and manner of conducting business.

This was one of the best experiences i have had for any installations. Vivian at the Palm Desert location was kind, informative, and a pleasure to work with. Manny the installer was top notch. Nicest Man i have met in a long while. Vivian and Manny explained everything and the installation was a breeze for a 14" and a 10". Nice natural light now and no more darkness during the day plus the night lights work awesome. I will purchase again in the future if i ever need to brighten a dark space. Price is fair for what i received. Thanks Sola-Lite.

This company is the best! I had solar tubes put in twice, once about ~1 yr go and once recently. They make it so easy! Answered questions, provided options. The installers are polite, show up when scheduled, KNOWLEDGEABLE, quick and clean up after themselves. In less than 2 hrs you have an amazing product! It's like the lights are turned on. I am so happy with them. The one thing I regret? That I didn't do it YEARS ago. PS, I never write reviews and rarely use exclamation points. This company deserves every one of them...they are that good.

We are so pleased with our new lights and solar vents. The sales guy was professional, honest, and knowledgeable about all the products. The installer was excellent. He made some great recommendations for some changes that were unforeseen in the initial quote. He was fast and left our house as clean as he found it. Would highly recommend Solar Midwest.

We were recommended to this company by our general contractor for solar tube installation. We just happened to call on a Monday, and they were able to install two 14 inch solar tubes the next day. We chose to pay an $80 upgrade, $40 per tube, which qualified the total purchase for a 30% tax rebate. Be sure to do that. It is well worth the money. The lights are fantastic. Our living room had vaulted ceilings and it always felt dark walking in there. Now we are looking for the light switch, thinking we left the lights on. I would definitely recommend this company.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Rusty from Daylight Concepts for evaluating our new home to determine whether installing solar roof vents would help reduce attic heat and lower our electrical costs. After a thorough assessment, Rusty confirmed that our home already has more than adequate ventilation, and that adding additional vents—given the roof’s current configuration—would not provide any meaningful benefit. What stood out most was his honesty. He could have easily recommended a product we didn’t need, but instead provided a transparent and professional evaluation without any sales pressure. We are so pleased with the Solatubes. It’s amazing how much natural light we have now. It has eliminated the darkness we have had in these rooms. We also had two attic solar vent fans and several box vents installed. We can already tell a difference. Our two service techs were great, efficient and worked hard in the 100+ degree temps. We will definetely recommend Solatube Home to our friends and family.

The effects of the installation of the attic/garage venting were immediate The technician, Daniel, was prompt and explained every thing in detail. The quality of his work is evident. We opted to have a dedicated circuit for the garage fan in order to not overload any other system. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the product and results.

A very nice and polite young man came out and installed our unit in about 2 hours. He did an excellent job and even offered to vacuum the carpet that had a bit of insulation on it that missed his drop cloth. Also the staff was great and worked with my wife on selection and scheduling. It brightened up one of the darker rooms in our house and my wife loves it.

Solar Midwest did a great job at installing my Solatube light. The installer was very professional and was good about placing it as close as possible to my desired location. He also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. My kitchen was very dark because it faces north, but now it's so nice and bright. The difference it makes is truly amazing. I would highly recommend getting a Solatube light for any dark rooms, and I would also highly recommend Solar Midwest to do the installation.

Our SolaTubes were 15 years old and needed maintenance. Jeff provided repair and replacement cost options. Ethan (Home+) subcontractor called and set appointment time. Replacement went smoothly. Our replacements were completed in just a few hours. Ethan took pictures when in the attic to show Solatube roof boot was water tight. Peace of mind that we had a Quality replacement.

Daniel arrived on time and had all of the supplies that he needed. He went up into the attic and determine the best locations and then came back and reviewed everything with me before he started doing any work. He got all the work done and he cleaned up the mess and I have my two sola tubes already adding light to my kitchen. This is not my first experience with solar tubes as I've had them in two previous houses, but I am pleased with the work that was done within the time frame that it was done and I would recommend solatube home to anyone who asks.

Wow!! What a difference!! My two bathrooms had no natural light. I love not having to walk into the bathroom and not turn on the lights. (But I keep thinking I left the lights on!!) Rusty did a wonderful job with the installation. He is a master at his craft. Joan was a pleasure to work with, too. Very nice men who knew exactly what they were doing and did a great job. I had one solar tube installed over my stairs and one solar tube installed over my upstairs family room. I love the light coming into previously dark spaces.

I was very satisfied with the work solatube installation of solar attic vents. It works great now I don’t need to lower my thermostat to keep my wife and I cool and comfortable; which saves me money on electricity.

We are very happy with our SolaTube. It adds so much to our great room and kitchen, and I think it was worth paying a little more for this product compared to other companies whose lights are not nearly so bright or well made. We will get a tax discount since we got the night light. Very courteous and professional staff. Highly recommend!

This past spring of 2024 I had my 3rd Solatube installed and just like the last two it was a great experience. The installers were on time, did their job in a timely manner and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. The end result offers so much extra natural light, we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend this product to anyone looking for more light in a dark area in their home.

Ftom the first phone call to the completed work, was such a stress free experience. Brad was immediately responsive to my request. James showed up the next day to give me expert advice on the best locations for the installation of the solar tubes. James was very professional, friendly and respectful of my property in the house. I can’t express how much I love the light that is now in my living areas! I should have done it sooner. Thank you both for brightening my days ahead!!! Very professional and quick service. We love our 2 solar tubes. They bring decent amount of light into our dark house. When it’s cold like it is now the lights don’t work I think because the batteries are too cold. Kind of unfortunate since it gets dark so early in the winter. The fan installed in the bathroom works wonders! Only 4 stars because we were told that there was an Xcel Energy rebate as well as tax write off for the solar tubes and it is actually only a tax write off and NO rebate. My husband and I were both there at the initial quote so we both heard it.

We had a Solatube installed in our main stairwell, and it's absolutely incredible! The cost was comparable to having an electrician install a light fixture, but the maintenance cost for this is $0. Highly recommend! Before/After attached.

We had a solatube skylight installed yesterday. Their installer, Rusty, did a great job explaining options and how the installation would be done. He demonstrated the features including the add on light kit and solar night light once the install was complete and cleaned up the work area. Working with Daylight Concepts on the purchase and install of the solatube skylight was a great experience and we are very happy with our purchase as it completely lights up our previously very dark utility room.

Last fall I had enough of my dark kitchen that felt like a cave where I had to have the lights on all day long. James came and helped me figure out the best placing for the new Solatube, and best of all explained about having a light kit in it so that it matched the rest of the lighting in the kitchen at night. This was such a gift to me! I love it and would really recommend this company as they do GREAT work. I'm including a photo of just the Solatube light during the day, and another when all the lights are on.

This is my third Solatube in this house. My parents had them for years without any issues. Just because your house is a little older doesn’t mean it has to look or feel like dungeon!! Look at the beautiful light. Now I need to paint!! Haha!

If you need a skylight repair {which is what I had done} You can trust Solatube to do it right !!! I hit the website on a Saturday and was having it installed the following Thursday And talk about staying informed about the process These guys have social media down to an artform 👍 I wouldn’t have any regrets using them again or recommending them to a friend! I had a builders grade unit {24 yrs old} Replaced with a glass unit I told my neighbors that I was taking down the plexiglass and was putting back glass {which is what I did} I call it skipping generations of progress right to the latest and greatest Seems to work for me and this was a GREAT result
