Here are some easy steps to follow for cleaning your Solatube tubular skylight:
- To remove the fixture, turn counter-clockwise until the fixture is released from the system.
- Wipe down your fixture. Avoid using harsh chemicals. A microfiber cloth with just water or soap and water will do.
- If cleaning the inside of your Solatube tubular skylight, remove the Natural Effects Lense by pulling down on the tab.
- When everything is clean, reinsert the Natural Effects Lense with the tab facing down. Make sure that it is fully sealed.
- To reattach your fixture, line up the notches you see on the system and the fixture, push the fixture flush with the system and turn clockwise until the fixture is secure on all sides.
