The first time it rained after they installed a skylight, we had water damage, leaks, and a soggy, bubbly ceiling inside our house. A technician came out and said he repaired the faulty installation on the roof, but didn’t test it. Since then we have left multiple messages for Bryce about repairing the interior damage. He has yet to return our phone calls. Damaged drywall, mold, and a ruined ceiling were not mentioned as part of the package we were sold, nor was the abysmal customer service. Beware of Solatube Home Dallas and use them at your own risk. Regarding the edit below: Bryce's "plan" to address the issue was to do nothing. He told us we'd need to call a roofer if we had further leaks from their product. Even though we'd never had a drop of water leak in before SolaTube came and replaced the skylight, he said he "understood why we might think the skylight had something to do with it," but refused to take responsibility. Use them at your own risk.

Preston came out and replaced our skylight. He did his work very professionally, efficiently and without hassle - this is the second skylight we have had replaced and truly a great experience each time.

Don was very professional and respectful of my home, leaving everything just as he found it...except for my new, beautiful Solar Tubes. Very happy with SolaTube and Don.

Love the result of my second solar tube in the kitchen/dinette area. Would recommend to anyone who has a dark corner they want to brighten up. Added bonus is the night light it provides.

Solatube installed two solar powered attic vents plus added R30 insulation above the garage (none of installed there before). The installer - Brendan Way - was a pleasure to deal with. Showed up on time, was professional, nice, polite and friendly. He finished the entire job in just a few hours and everything now works as expected. All in all I am recommending this company, this product and this installer to anyone considering solar tubes (lights), or attic fans. Very pleased with the entire experience.

Peter and Don were very experienced and efficient technicians. Completed installing 2 solatubes which look great. From sales to installation, was a remarkably smooth process including providing details of installation, proper placement to get the most light. Would highly recommend Peter and Don for installation and solatube as the company. All technicians are solatube employees, not sub contractors which was great.

My wife and I could not be a happier customers. Everyone we spoke to was very knowledgeable and professional. Tim answered our inquiry promptly, answered our questions, and made an appointment for us. They inspected our attic to ensure it would accommodate the tubular skylight. Afterwards, we decided to add a second tubular skylight and they accommodated our addition without our having to make another appointment. Our installer, Daniel, was polite and professional. We are very happy he recommended a location for the second skylight that was much better than the location we had chosen. Daniel was careful to contain the debris and dust, and he cleaned up afterwards. The product is phenomenal and the installation professional. We had a kitchen and back hallway that were dark and now they have sunlight during the day and provide a well-needed nightlight. This home improvement is well worth what we paid for the excellent product and installation.

Good product with the noble purpose of saving energy. Lead technician Peter and other technicians Daniel and Don were timely, professional and kept the work area clean during the multi-day job. Product pricing is transparent, the installation contract and resulting warranties for product and workmanship are also transparent and simple for any homeowner to comprehend. The photo accompanying this review is one of many installed. It's a tear drop frame. Solatube's website gives far better pictures with broader visual perspectives. Good experience as a Solatube Home customer in 09-2025. Thank you.

I am very happy with the work that Peter did for me with the solatube and attic ventilation. His workmanship is superb. I appreciate how careful he measured everything and I felt like he put in a lot of care and attention with the installation because the installation look very clean, neat and professional. No sloppiness so I 100% recommend this company. Also, Peter's coworker Doug did great job helping out with the garage door vent installation.

Solatube has been around for over 32 years specializing in solar lighting. They’re very professional and knowledgeable. Pete and Preston were the techs installing our solar lighting. We got 5 lights installed and the difference is night and day (pun intended). The kitchen and entry areas are brighter than stadium lighting but it’s entirely solar! The system captures light and diffuses it for a 100% natural light source. The lights are so bright I keep thinking I left a light on. The entire process took about 4 hours but it’s money well spent. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again!
